Delete your account
You can permanently delete your Personalist account and all associated data at any time.
Request deletion by email
Email us from the address associated with your account and we'll permanently delete your account and data:
Please use the subject line “Account deletion request.” We may ask you to verify ownership of the account before deleting it, and we'll confirm once it's done - typically within 30 days.
Delete in the app
You can also delete your account directly in the Personalist app: open Account and choose Delete account. Your account and data are removed from our active systems shortly after you confirm.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- your profile (name, email, gender, and preferences);
- your wardrobe items and uploaded photos;
- your generated outfits, try-on images and videos, trips, and chat history;
- your usage and activity data.
What may be retained
We may retain a limited amount of information where required for legal, accounting, fraud prevention, or security purposes, and in backups for a short period before they are overwritten. Retained data is not used for any other purpose.
Note: any active subscription is managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription - please cancel it in your store account settings to stop further billing.
